2003 Moguls National Champion
Ranked 7th in the World / FIS World Cup
Biography
This five-year U.S. Ski Team member started skiing
in New York at the wee age of seven and soon discovered his passion
for mogul skiing. Before long he headed to Colorado to continue his
training with Team Breck. Luke tears up the moguls course with the
best of them and has been pushing the sport to new limits with his
signature style and big airs. The most notable of his airs may be
the ‘Hucklebuck’, an off-axis 720, which he introduced
during the 2002 Gold Cup. With a name like Luke, it’s only appropriate
that he’s earned the nickname of Luke Skywalker.
When Luke isn’t training or competing on the
snow he’s perfecting his aerial maneuvers at the Utah Winter
Sports Park. Whenever he finds spare time, Luke heads straight to
the beach to pursue his second true passion, surfing.
