Bio
Skiing for 16 years and competing since the age of seven, Dylan Akerley started out competing in moguls and aerials and eventually moved on to specialize in Freeride (slopestyle, half pipe), in 2005. Now sponsored by both Fischer skis and DNA clothing and a competitive Freeride skier he is setting the bar in this ever evolving sport.
Dylan also enjoys coaching young athletes at Utah Olympic Park with the Fly Freestyle Program and with the Wasatch Freestyle Team at Deer Valley.
A seasoned competitor, Dylan has had numerous top ten finishes in national Freeride competitions. In the winter months you’ll find him training hard in the park at Park City….unless there’s new snow…..then you’re sure to find him enjoying our Utah powder at Snowbird.
