Biography
Babic made the conscious decision to switch from
basketball to mogul skiing while watching the ’94 Olympics at
age 15. He soon moved to Colorado to train with Team Breck and by
2001 he was camping out near Oregon’s Mount Hood for the summer
to train on the snow. In 2002 Babic won the Nor Am title and by ’03
had made the U.S. Ski Team. Soon he was making history by grabbing
a World Cup podium and well earning his place on the team.
Babic was the first skier ever to perform two off-axis
maneuvers in a World Cup in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy in ‘02.
He is pushing the sport to new levels.
