Bio
Although she didn’t start competing until
after finishing college at Middlebury, “at the ripe old age
of 22”, Battelle quickly got the hang of things and made the
Olympic Team for the 1992 Winter Games. Being a 6-time national champion
has helped pave the way for Battelle to continue to make every Winter
Olympic Team since.
As if being a new Mom isn’t enough to
keep her busy, Battelle still manages to make appearances on CBS,
NBC, ESPN and other major networks as well as being featured in numerous
publications such as Sports Illustrated and Ski Magazine. An avid
hiker and biker, this Vermont native now resides in Colorado and continues
to rip up the bumps with the best of ‘em.
